Support
Before submitting a support ticket, please check if your question has already been answered below:
1. Download the plugin from the link you got in your email or from the downloads section in your account.
2. Unzip the files.
3. Run the installer that corresponds to your OS (Each installer is labeled “Mac_Installer.pkg” or “Windows_Installer.exe”.
4. Windows only: Choose the components you want to install (VST3, AAX).
5. Finish the installation.
6. Open your DAW and add the plugin to any track. For easier access, type “THR” into the search box of the plugin list.
7. Activate the plugin using the serial provided via email (can also be found in your account).
For more info on how to active your plugin, including offline activation, check this guide.
Here is a full activation guide that goes over how to activate both online as well as offline.
You can deactivate any activation that isn’t an offline activation by either opening the plugin on the machine you want to deactivate it on, clicking the “THR” logo and then clicking on “Deactivate”.
You can also deactivate it from your account here.
Important note: Offline licenses (the ones you download from the licenses page) cannot be deactivated and are machine-bound forever.
Always use the 20-digit serial to activate the plugins unless you are strictly going to use them on a machine without internet access.
It is possible to use the plugins fully offline.
Please refer to the full activation guide and scroll to the bottom. Here you will find a step-by-step guide on how to create and download an offline license.
This error very rarely happens, but it’s solved quite easily. Here is how to.
Generally, I recommend closing any DAW that might be open before installing the plugins as they typically scan for new plugins on startup.
Still, if the DAW is unable to find the plugins, there is multiple ways to solve the problem.
In Ableton Live, in order to load the plugin without the blurry rendering, right-click on the plug-in (not the plugin’s UI but the insert slot) and deselect “Auto-Scale Plugin Window”.
This could mean that you accidentally entered the wrong email address while purchasing or that you may have acquired a license via a reseller. In any case, please get in contact to resolve this.
The newest builds of all THRaudio plugins will work natively on the Apple Silicon Macs.
VST3, AU and AAX for MacOS, and VST3 and AAX for Windows.
