This is a full step-by-step guide on how to activate any THR plugin.
In case the activation does not succeed, I have added a few extra steps on how to solve this.
Plugin Activation Guide #
Important: An active internet connection is required to activate and run the plugin if you want to be able to control the activations (disabling one to activate on a different computer).
Offline licenses are bound to one computer and can’t be deactivated.
After purchase, you will receive an email in your inbox with the license keys or you can find them in the “Licenses” section in your account.
Activation Steps #
- Open the plugin in your DAW (Add it to a track).
- Enter the serial number you received into the activation field.
- Click Activate.
- Done.

In 99% of the cases, the plugin activates successfully.
However, in some cases it may not work and you will need to check some things.
Activation Issues #
If you see an error like:
- “License Key Invalid”
- “Free Trial Ended” or “No Internet Connection”
This usually means one of the following:
- No internet connection.
- A firewall is blocking the plugin from connecting to the licensing server.
Since the plugin needs to verify your license online, anything blocking its access will prevent activation.
How to Allow the Plugin Through Your Firewall #
Windows Firewall #
- Press Win and type “Firewall”.
- Open “Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security”.
- For both “Inbound Rules” and “Outbound Rules” click on New Rule.
- Select “Program” and click Next.
- Find the path to the DAW you are using (Click browse and then add the .exe, example “Reaper.exe”) and click on Next.
- Select “Allow the Connection” and click on next.
- Select “Domain”, “Private” and “Public” and click on next.
- Lastly, give it a name and click on finish.
Remember to do this for both inbound and outbound rules.
Option 2: Completely disable the Firewall #
- Press the Win key and type “firewall & network protection”.
- Click on “Private Network” and then disable it.
- Activate the Plugin.
- Activate the Firewall again.
macOS (LuLu or Little Snitch) #
LuLu Firewall
- Open the LuLu app.
- Go to Rules.
- Click Add Rule (+) and select Allow.
- Locate the DAW you’re using and allow network access.
- Save the rule and restart your DAW.
Little Snitch Firewall
- Open Little Snitch Configuration.
- Find the plugin or DAW in the list (or click New Rule).
- Select Allow Connections for Any Server.
- Click Save, then restart your DAW.
Try with a different DAW #
Logic Pro seems to be the the DAW that causes the most issues when trying to activate my plugins. So if you are a Logic User, sometimes activating on a different one can solve the problem, and even if you are not a Logic user, this might still work for you.
Once the plugin is activated, it will work in any DAW.

Offline Activation Guide #
Important: Offline activations cannot be deactivated and are bound to a single computer.
As of now, only VoxGuru works with the offline License Schema. The other plugins will be updated in the coming weeks to also be able to use it.

To activate the plugin using the offline activation schema follow these steps:
- In the offline activation window of the plugin, click on get Host ID.
- Log in to your account on a computer that has internet access and go to the licenses section (Give it about 20 seconds to load, it takes a while to fetch your license).
- Enter the Host ID you copied into the Host ID field and click on download license.
- You then need to import/copy the license to the computer you want to activate the plugin on (use a thumbdrive).
- Drag and drop the downloaded license file onto the plugin.
